A company is a moral organism, brought alive by people who willed it into being.

1 / 4

Metaforms is alive because a small number of people wanted it to exist, and kept wanting it through the years when it had no customers and no clear idea of what it was.

That wanting is why Metaforms exists.

The software is an artifact of the company, not the other way around. The company is the people and the will behind them and the product is its creative expression.

2 / 4

People took bets oneach other to make it.

Someone left a stable job for a company that couldn't promise them a paycheck. Someone signed on as our first customer while the product barely worked.

We didn't come from a famous lab or a big-name school, and we had nothing that would tell a sane person we would make it.

3 / 4

We had people whodecided to try anyway.

And we were willing to be wrong for a long time.

We built things people didn't want, and sold to whoever would buy, across industries that had nothing to do with each other.

It took us until late 2024 to understand market research at all. We paid someone who had run an agency to sit with us and walk us through his inbox and his spreadsheets, because we didn't know how the work happened.

The people who havespent their careers in thisindustry taught us the job.

We are still learning it from them, and we build the product on top of what they know rather than on top of what we assumed.

What we do

Metaforms builds agents for research teams. Market research agencies, and the companies that own the world's survey panels, use it to deliver better research, faster, without growing their teams at the same rate.

Why we do it

Research is how the world checks its guesses against the truth.

Getting to an honest answer is still slow and expensive, and most businesses can't afford it, so they guess. The people who do research make honest answers possible at a scale the rest of us lean on.

Metaforms exists to take the operational weight off that work, so more of it can happen, for anyone with a question worth answering.

Our morality is error correction.

We get a lot wrong. But we treat being wrong as the most useful thing that can happen to us, because it is the only way we know to get better. When the evidence says we've made a mistake, we say so and we fix it, and we try to fix it faster than we did the time before.

Truth-seeking is the work we sell, and a company in that business has no honest option except to seek the truth about itself too.

That habit of correcting ourselves is what keeps the company alive. When it stops, the company starts to die, doesn't matter what the revenue says.

A company stays alive only for as long as real people keep giving it their energy.

We are still a small team across Bengaluru and New York, early in a long project to make research more accessible to any business with a question.

Teams who have trusted us with their money and expertise
